Job Description:

A company is looking for a Chief Medicaid Actuary.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee actuarial function, ensuring effective operations in rate development and financial outcomes
Develop and apply actuarial policies and assess the impact of health insurance products on profitability
Advise senior management on actuarial techniques and oversee data preparation for state insurance filings

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
10+ years of actuarial experience
Knowledge of Health Care Reform (ACA) regulations and their implications
Previous management experience, including hiring and performance management
Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA) certification
