Job Description:
Job Description: The student worker will assist the Facility
Manager (direct supervisor) and Athletic Department staff with
scheduled and routine groundskeeping duties and operation
procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Sports field
maintenance - Prepping for practices and games - Weed and pest
control. - Irrigation supervision 2. Set up and take down
equipment, etc. for facility events (i.e. classes, intramurals,
athletic events, special events, etc.). 3. Maintaining gym floor
clean and game ready. 4. Cleaning and organizing garage and storage
areas. 5. Minor maintenance of department vehicles (golf cart,
3wheeler etc) 6. Assist with landscaping and custodial projects
within any athletic facility. Education : Must currently be a
student at La Sierra University. Experience : None required but
must have the ability to do manual labor. Skills : Punctuality and
the ability to work independently as well as in groups and teams.
Physical/Mental Demands : Moderate to heavy physical demands due to
hot/cold natural conditions. One is required to walk, push, lift,
pull, bend, rake, etc Hours : Must be flexible and keep track of
upcoming events in our calendar and be available during unexpected
or various times. Period of Agreement: Summer quarter with
possibility of extension to following quarters. When submitting

of your class schedule. Wage Range : 16.90-17.30/hr
