This may entail performing the following:Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematicsConstructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts a variety of tools, equipment and systemsConducts, analyzes and documents statistically based experiments to define process parametersImplements and documents complex solutions for process improvementDesigns and constructs basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasksOrganizes, analyzes and interprets data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvementWhat youll experience:Technologies that arent just top-notch, theyre often top-secretA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring whats nextOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as its discoveredWhat you bring to the table:An Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceSolid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication toolsAbility to fabricate complex hardwareSolid knowledge of generally accepted technical theoryWhat sets you apart:Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team successCommitment to ongoing professional developmentSuperior communication and collaboration skillsSkills required:Supports engineering activities spanning electrical engineering, RF, mechanics and softwareSupervision and organization of a busy test lab, including management of engineering spares and componentsInterprets and works from engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, and ability to work from verbal instructionsHelp with board programming, testing, modification, experimental design circuitry, and setup of specialized test equipmentAssembly of prototype electromechanical systems in small build quantities, giving feedback within engineeringStrong hands-on skills including prototyping and soldering (expert SMD) and the use of basic electronic test equipment such as multimetersConstruction of cables and connectors including RF cablesHelps designs and construct basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasksSupports Operations with manufacturing surgesMay prepare reports, documentation/specifications on occasionGood computer and test equipment knowledgeThe candidate must be an excellent communicator, be able to multitask, and work well on collaborative designs as a key member in a small teamSalary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range: USD $29.62 - USD $31.77 /Hr.
