Job Description:

As a Marine Electrician in the focused industry of Military, Aerospace & Defense, the role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems in marine vessels that are critically used in defense operations. Working in {EMPLOYER-DESC}, you are responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of various electrical components onboard including communication systems, navigational systems, and engine room electrical systems. Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in marine vessels including power distribution systems, alarm systems, and lighting systems. Conduct routine electrical safety checks and troubleshoot issues to detect malfunctions within the electrical systems. Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure comprehensive maintenance that aligns with safety regulations and operational standards. Manage inventory of electrical supplies and tools, and ensure proper documentation of all repair and maintenance work. Provide technical guidance and support during marine operations and participate actively in emergency response drills and activities. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for electrical system troubleshooting. In-depth understanding of marine electrical systems and electronics. Ability to interpret electrical system schematics and technical manuals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
