Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Lab
Infrastructure Engineering Manager 2 to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals on the Restricted Program - ADD. This
leadership role is located in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The selected
candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our
facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this
position. In this role, you will oversee a team of professionals
responsible for supporting testing activities in the Software
Engineering Lab (SEL). Candidates should be highly motivated
self-starters with relevant IT, lab infrastructure and project

others. Key Responsibilities: Perform program and functional
management duties for a team of 10 to 15 direct reports
Functionally manage and lead a team of 10 – 15 Test Conductors,
System Test Engineers and Technicians in the execution of
programmatic activities Lead SEL maintenance, modification and
troubleshooting projects Specify test configurations and coordinate
all lab test modifications Manage SEL infrastructure and
architecture budgets, personnel, and resource planning Perform and
support long range planning of the SEL Identify, mitigate and
manage technical risks associated with lab test and facilities
projects Exhibit excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal
skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management,
peers, and staff Own and lead improvements across employee
engagement, hiring, professional development, training, and
retention of top talent Basic Qualifications: Must have a
Bachelor’s of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of
related professional/military experience to include a background in
aerospace and/or defense, or a Master’s degree and 7 years of
related professional/military experience. Must have an active DoD
Top Secret clearance, with a background investigation completed
within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous
Evaluation Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special
Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time
as determined by the business. Must have experience in one or more
of the following disciplines: IT, Facilities or Lab Infrastructure
or Project Management Must have experience leading
multi-disciplinary technical teams Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field Current special
program access Experience working in a lab environment on a
restricted program Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced
environment with competing priorities Previous functional
management experience leading a team of engineers for at least 1
year Working knowledge of Earned Value, with the ability to build
milestone schedules for execution purposes Primary Level Salary
Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00 The above salary range represents
a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number
of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope
and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety
of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and
disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid
time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The
