Job Description:
Breakthrough Sports is seeking a detail-oriented and organized
HR / Recruiting Director to join our team in a hybrid work
environment. The position will play a key role in supporting the
recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to coordinating
interviews and assisting with onboarding. This role will also
include managerial aspects to include creating and maintaining
company personnel schedules and standard operating procedure
documents. The HR / Recruiting Director role will be a part of our
company leadership team and oversee several employees. Job
Responsibilities: Strategic HR Management: Develop and implement HR
strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business
strategy. Serve as a strategic partner to senior management,
providing insights and guidance on HR-related issues. Drive
organizational effectiveness through workforce planning,
performance management, and employee development. Develop and
manage HR budgets and forecasts. Recruitment and Talent
Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process, including developing job
descriptions, posting job openings, screening candidates,
conducting interviews, and managing offer negotiations. Implement
effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
and reduce time-to-hire. Build and maintain relationships with
recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent acquisition
sources. Develop and maintain an employer branding strategy to
attract top talent. Employee Relations and Compliance: Ensure
compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Manage employee relations, including handling conflicts,
grievances, and disciplinary actions. Oversee the development and
implementation of HR policies and procedures. Foster a positive
work environment and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and
inclusion. Training and Development: Identify training needs and
design, implement, and evaluate training programs for employees at
all levels. Support career development and succession planning
efforts within the organization. Promote continuous learning and
development to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Compensation
and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of compensation
and benefits programs. Conduct regular reviews of compensation
structures to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance,
retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance management systems to drive
employee engagement and productivity. Provide guidance and support
to managers in conducting performance appraisals and setting goals.
Implement strategies to recognize and reward high-performing
employees. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources,
Business Administration, or a related field. At least 7-10 years of
HR management experience, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and
talent acquisition. Proven experience in developing and
implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Strong
leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to
build relationships and influence at all levels of the
organization. Experience with HR software and applicant tracking
systems (ATS). Preferred Skills: Experience in a fast-paced,
high-growth environment. Ability to effectively manage company
scheduling system. Working Conditions: This position typically
operates in a home office environment. Occasional travel may be
required for recruiting, observation, and training purposes. DEI
