As a fast-growing, nationwide company, we seek passionate leaders to help expand our impact across various communities.Position: Director of Business Development - Senior Living (Remote with travel)Genuine Foods is looking for a strategic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead sales in senior living communities nationwide. The role involves developing partnerships with senior care providers, including independent, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.The successful candidate will develop sales strategies to grow in this vertical, targeting both public and private clients, with experience in selling contract foodservice management to senior living or healthcare institutions.This is a remote role requiring significant travel.Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement business plans to meet sales and revenue goals.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain prospects through outreach and market research.
  • Client Engagement: Lead meetings, tastings, and site visits to demonstrate capabilities and build trust.
  • Proposal Development: Analyze RFPs and develop tailored proposals and pricing.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Culinary, and Marketing teams.
  • Sales Enablement & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales data and forecasts in CRM; share insights with leadership.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitors.
  • Leadership Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy and market opportunities.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Contribute to improvements in sales methodologies, tools, and training.Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of consultative sales experience.
  • At least 3 years selling contract foodservice solutions to senior living or healthcare institutions.
  • Proven success closing multimillion-dollar contracts with complex stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the senior living market, resident expectations, and operational constraints.
  • Experience navigating procurement processes in public and private sectors.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with decision-makers.
