Patient Access Representative
Location: Mission Viejo, CA
Work Schedule: On Call/ Per Diem
Shift: 8-hour, Days
Greets all patients and non-patients. Pre-registers and registers
patients presenting for appointments. Conducts patient/guarantor
interviews, explains hospital policies, financial responsibilities
and patient's bill of rights. Facilitates the patient admission
flow, including activities such as: patient identification,
identification of accurate demographic information, and financial
data retrieval of required signatures and documents. Enters the
financial and admissions data into the hospital information
computer systems. Facilitates appropriate exam specific paperwork
to patient for completion and reviews paperwork prior to processing
patient.
