Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Case Management - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with an active or pending CA license and a strong background in acute care coordination for a hospital-based contract. Responsibilities - Position is based in an acute care hospital setting on the Case Management unit - Day shifts are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, five days per week - Patient caseload is approximately 1:25 - Weekend rotation is required - Floating to the Laguna facility and all facilities within California is expected - Epic is the EMR used for documentation - Must be able to perform comprehensive case management and care coordination duties across multiple facilities - Required to float between all facilities within the state as assignment demands - Scrub colors are turquoise or business casual attire as per department policy - Must commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day) - Returning former perm staff must have a 3-month separation and must not live within 50 miles of the facility - No more than 7 days of requested time off will be considered - Pre-employment and annual modules must be completed independently before starting Requirements - Active CA RN license required at time of start (pending license accepted if issued before start) - Minimum of 2 years of recent acute medical case manager experience with care coordination responsibilities - Previous travel nursing experience is required for consideration - Ability to provide a minimum of two supervisory references covering at least one year of employment in a comparable setting - Epic EMR experience required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629832.
