Job Description Job Description We are seeking qualified
candidates with a bachelor’s degree in mental health services,
education, or a related field to join our Residential Group Home
team as a Residential Associate Clinician in Wilmington, Delaware.
Hiring for Work Schedules • Full-Time 40 hours per week, Monday
through Friday • Available shifts, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM and 3:00
PM–11:00 PM Hire requirements include attending a day-shift new
hire and orientation training during the first five (5) days of the
workweek, Monday through Friday, at our Philadelphia location.
Mileage reimbursement will be provided. The Residential Associate
Clinician will provide coordination and guidance, counseling, and
encouragement to participants as they transition from residential
services to a more independent environment. Some additional
responsibilities would include the following: Implement and
document participant’s progress in accordance with individualized
rehabilitation plans and ensure a safe, healthy and secure
environment which promotes growth and development. Assist with the
presentation in case conference for assigned participants. Act as a
liaison and consult with community agencies and families to
maintain coordination in the recovery process. Provide ongoing
assessment of participant’s mental illness symptoms and their
responses to recovery to ensure that immediate and appropriate
interventions are provided. Participate in staff planning, training
and internal/external administrative meetings. Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, nursing,
rehabilitation, education or other mental health field from an
accredited college or university. Direct experience in mental
health services with emphasis on direct care in a community-based
setting. Ability to work independently and to exercise initiative.
Good communication skills both oral and written. Possess a valid
driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Scope: Requires
the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which
includes direct intervention with participants. Frequent talking
and listening. Ability to climb and descend stairs. Possess manual
dexterity and fine motor skills. Requires crisis intervention in
emergency situations. May be required to report to work during
emergencies including inclement weather. Horizon House offers
