Job Title: Operating Room • Registered Nurse • Nights Location: Lancaster California Start Date: ASAP Shift: Nights Hours: 36 hours/week (3 x 12-hour shifts) Length: 13 weeks Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team, focusing on Orthopedics and Trauma. The RN will provide top•notch care during surgical procedures, working under the guidance of the Surgical Services Director or OR Charge Nurse, and following AORN Standards and hospital policies. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care during surgeries. • Ensure patient safety and comfort. • Monitor patients under anesthesia. • Conduct ongoing patient assessments. • Maintain high•quality care standards. • Advocate for patient rights. • Manage surgical instruments and materials. Qualifications: • 2 years OR experience in Orthopedics and Trauma. • 1 year travel nursing experience. • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications. • Available for weekday, weekend, and holiday calls (minimum 14 calls). • Perioperative Nursing Course and CNOR certification preferred. Skills and Abilities: • Proficient in asepsis and sterile techniques. • Knowledge of surgical supplies and equipment. • Efficient under pressure in fast•paced settings. • Supervisory skills. Additional Information: • Participation in committees may be required. • Other duties as assigned.
