working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Redlands,
California, 92373! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift:
12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant areas License: Valid
nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have:
1:3 patient ratio experience with trachs and ventilator management
required Experience in non-titrated cardiac drip management
required Insulin 3:1 preferred (not required) Experience in
telemetry and PCU/stepdown care required Description:
Responsibilities include caring for patients requiring close
monitoring and specialized interventions. Candidates must have
experience managing non-titrated cardiac drips such as Amiodarone,
Milrinone, Lasix, Cardizem, Dopamine, and Dobutamine. Experience
with tracheostomy and ventilator management is essential. Knowledge
of insulin protocols is preferred but not mandatory. The role
requires the management of patients with various diagnoses
including but not limited to sepsis, respiratory failure, COPD,
DKA, and acute on chronic renal failure. Skills in interpreting
dysrhythmias and blood gas results are necessary. Ability to
utilize rapid response teams and perform advanced nursing
procedures is expected. Candidates will be expected to float within
their areas of competency, including med/surg and telemetry.
Weekend coverage is required, with a minimum of 2 weekends per
month. Interdisciplinary support is available, including pharmacy,
physical therapy, and social services. The facility emphasizes the
