Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at an acute care hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, requiring Epic proficiency, stroke experience, and on-call availability. /n /n Responsibilities/n - 488-bed acute care hospital setting in Mission Viejo, CA - Interventional Radiology unit - Patient ratio of 1:2 - Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30) - On-call required: 12 calls per 6-week period, including one weekend - Minimum every other weekend required; may exceed based on unit needs - Floating required between like units, including possible float to Providence Mission Laguna and other facilities within the state - Charting via Epic (experience required) - Free parking available on site - Royal blue scrubs required for RN staff - Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate — contact your recruiter for details - All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied - Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler, and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility - Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination - Block scheduling requests are considered at the manager's discretion /n /n Requirements/n - Active CA RN license required (pending licenses not accepted) - Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Minimum 1 year of RN experience required - Stroke experience required - Epic EMR experience required - Must reside within 30 miles of the facility to meet on-call stroke response requirements - At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration - SSN and DOB required for consideration - First-time travelers are not eligible for this position /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-677737.
