Job Description:
A company is looking for a Content Developer for Social
Studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, edit, and review lessons and activities across K-12 History
and Social Studies content
Craft purposeful and methodology-informed learning experiences
centered around engagement
Ensure content resources are aligned to learning outcomes, targeted
instructional objectives, and specific content standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, history,
or a field related to social studies
Previous experience as a K-12 social studies educator with
knowledge of pedagogy, standards, and instructional design
Previous experience with curriculum writing, preferably as a
freelancer for an educational technology company
Deep knowledge of instructional design principles and practices
