Job Description Job Description Job Title: Corporate / M&A Associate Practice: Corporate / Transactions Location: Westlake Village, CA or Santa Barbara, CA, or Century City, CA Work Model: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $210,000 – $320,000/year The Role We are hiring a senior-level Corporate / M&A Associate to join a busy corporate and securities practice. This role is for attorneys who can run transactions , work independently, and mentor junior team members. The practice is heavily focused on venture capital financings and middle-market M&A , with sophisticated clients across multiple industries. Life sciences experience is a plus, but not required . Compensation Base salary: $210,000 – $320,000 , depending on level and performance Strong platform for long-term growth What You’ll Be Doing Leading venture capital financings (Series A–C, SAFEs, convertible notes) Handling middle-market M&A transactions (stock and asset deals, mergers, JV’s) Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents Advising companies on corporate governance and general corporate matters Mentoring junior associates and collaborating with cross-functional teams Working directly with clients and partners on active deals This Role Is a Good Fit If You: Have meaningful experience running VC and M&A transactions Can manage multiple deals at once with minimal supervision Are comfortable mentoring junior attorneys Want a hybrid, office-based role with real responsibility Prefer a performance-driven environment over lockstep progression This Role Is Not a Fit If You: Are seeking fully remote work Do not have hands-on M&A or VC experience Are not comfortable owning transactions How to Apply Apply directly here or email me.
