Job Description Job Description We are looking for a meticulous
and organized Inventory Control Clerk to oversee the tracking,
management, and coordination of furniture, décor, and accessories
across multiple warehouses. This role plays a vital part in
ensuring that our design and staging teams have access to inventory
in a timely and efficient manner. As a Contract to permanent
position, it offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the
company. Responsibilities: • Maintain up-to-date and accurate
records of inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing
items. • Conduct routine inventory audits to identify and resolve
discrepancies. • Label, tag, and categorize inventory items
systematically to ensure easy identification and retrieval. •
Support staging activities and manage the return process, ensuring
all items are handled with care. • Collaborate with warehouse and
logistics teams to coordinate inventory requests. • Ensure
inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with
safety standards. • Assist in preparing inventory reports for
management and other relevant teams. • Implement best practices for
inventory management to improve efficiency. • Monitor inventory
levels and report shortages or excesses to the appropriate teams.•
Proven experience in inventory management or a related field. •
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and software. • Strong
organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work
effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Excellent
communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments. •
Knowledge of safety protocols for warehouse environments. •
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. •
Ability to lift and move items as required during inventory
handling.
