Ref ID: 00760-9502796297Classification: Staff AccountantCompensation: $25.00 to $30.00 hourlyWe are partnered with a large business consulting firm in Mission Viejo that is seeking an experience Staff Accountant for an exciting long-term temporary opportunity. As the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. A great deal of time in this position will be spent producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. You'll also have responsibility over various aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. ? The Job - Manage full-cycle multi-company accounting practices, in compliance with GAAP, including: - Daily revenue recognition and sales reporting - Production of monthly Financial Statements, in accordance with GAAP - Internal and external reporting - Cash flow, balance sheet and income statement (GAAP) - Ensure all accruals are properly recorded - Reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts - Accounts Receivable, if applicable - Accounts Payable, ensuring that invoices recorded by the AP department are correct and accurate - Assist in vendor statement reviews, as needed for proper cut-offsJob Requirements:Requirements : - BA/BS in Accounting or related field - 5+ years of staff accountant level experience - Strong command of Excel - vlookups, pivot tables - We utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX - ERP experience required ? ?
