Tayani Institute is seeking a dynamic, energetic and knowledgeable Optician to join our growing and thriving Ophthalmology/Optometry practice.Our practice provides a broad array of ophthalmology, optometry, optical and plastic surgery services. We are a high volume, fast paced practice offering competitive pay and benefits.Job Responsibilities:Perform duties in the optical department and provide good customer experiencePerform all billing efforts of insurance plans for billable services/products in the vision plansLearn NextGen Optical Management software and perform routine tasks such as sales, billing and inventoryManage product inventory and report discrepancies immediately to your managerSaturday coverage in the Optical Dept. as neededAssist with marketing plans within the Optical Department
