Job Description:

An international food wholesaler is searching for an Entry Level Bilingual Japanese/English Outside Food Sales Representative to join their team in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for developing and promoting the company products at the designated areas in order to increase the profit of the company as well as maintaining the existing customer base. A bachelor's degree, 2 years of outside sales experience, ability to speak, read, and write Japanese, and a valid driver's license are required. This is a full-time position, exempt, excellent benefits, 401k, and bonus.

Entry-Level Bilingual Japanese/English Outside Food Sales Representative Duties:

-Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, trade shows, internet web sites, and other sources.
-Build strong relationships with local channels to exceed sales targets in the domestic market
-Travel to customers' locations, address their needs, develop solutions, and process purchase orders
-Contacts customers both by phone and in person on a daily basis.
-Determines customers' needs and budgets; plans a sales strategy to sell the products.
-Conducts sales presentations and introduces promotional products to customers.
-Develops sales and action targets and submits monthly action plan; Actively implements the strategic sales plan accordingly.
-Develops and maintains sales materials to be presented to the customers.
-Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
-Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships; keeps the Management informed.
-Develops new suppliers and business relationship.
-Plans and attends trade shows

Bilingual Japanese/English Entry-Level Outside Food Sales Representative Skills:

-Must have a bachelors' degree
-Must have 2 years of outside sales experience
-Must have a valid driver's license
-Ability to drive on a regular basis
-Ability to speak read and write Japanese is required
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
