Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Advisor (Disability) to
support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office
of Civil Rights (OCR).
Key Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expert advice on policy and compliance
issues related to OCR's disability portfolio
Conduct research and prepare briefings and documents for OCR
leadership on disability-related matters
Coordinate outreach activities and make recommendations for
improving program efficiencies within OCR's disability
initiatives
Required Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or a Master's degree with
four years of specialized experience in disability
discrimination
Expert understanding of disability discrimination and service needs
of individuals with disabilities
Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance
Experience working in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment
Understanding of the public health or healthcare system
