Job Description:
A company is looking for an Intake Coordinator to provide
customer service and support in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Enter referrals into the system accurately and timely, verifying
completeness of requests
Notify clinical staff of requests and hospitalizations that require
further review
Process approval determinations and provide customer service
regarding authorization requests and claims
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in the healthcare or health plan
environment
Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Office
and/or Epic
Knowledge of medical terminology
Previous experience in the medical field or health plan
preferred
