As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.Minimum Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.Candidate should have 10+ years of experienceExperience in C/C++, Computer vision/ Image processing is mustExperience in camera technology, ML/DL is good to haveExperience in Embedded/arm programming is good to have but not necessaryResponsibilities:The job responsibilities may include a subset of the following:Designing computer vision /image processing for mobile devicesDesigning and evaluating algorithms to be implemented in hardware on software prototypesDeveloping or Optimizing image processing and computer vision algorithms for HW accelerationSupport product teams for commercialization, such as solution optimization, performance profiling and benchmarking.Test regression and release supportPreferred Qualifications:Exposure or working experience in Vision or Multimedia acceleratorsWorking experience with image processing algorithms.Knowledge/working experience in computer vision algorithmsStrong knowledge in data structures and working experience with C/C++ programmingSoftware optimizations experience in various SIMD and multi-threadingApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
